Incremental

I’ve not had the chance or will-power to blog recently, mainly due to stress and work (and hence more stress).

Lots of things have happened at work recently that make it look like a totally different company, and so far it hasn’t been in my advantage. I won’t go on about it here, but just be aware that my tone and view on certain affairs is now corrupted.

On the plus side, my [nearly] new girlfriend Lindsay and I are getting on great! Aside from the money troubles we both suffer, our relationship is excellent and feels very stable. I’m so glad she’s with me at this time, she’s good at listening to me whine about life and helps council me. She’s also a qualified mortgage advisor which helped when I was briefly trying to find a house!

I went to see Kelly Jones (the lead singer and songwriter from The Stereophonics) on Tuesday night in Birmingham. The gig was alright but it wasn’t anything really special to me; I am, after all, into dance and rock more than I’m into acoustic. The best thing about the trip (which lasted half day Tuesday until Wednesday night) was the hotel and Birmingham itself. The hotel was called nite nite, a relatively new hotel at the heart of Birmingham – just check out their rooms! Next was the day of wondering in and out of shops in and around the Bullring – for some reason I found it very relaxing and stress-relieving looking at stuff I could easily get in Nottingham, but was in Birmingham… very strange.

My attendance on WoW has suffered a remission, due to my recent chaotic lifestyle. I was on a roll to getting my 280% mount but I got overwhelmed by the thought of earning another 2500 gold that I went back to playing PvP on my level 28 warrior.

I’m late for my train back home so I’ll finish this post now. I’ll write another one when I get a spare minute this weekend, so until then, good bye!
