About
Who am I?
My name is David Wood, I’ve lived in Nottingham since October 2005 after graduating from The University of Hull in April 2005.
What do I do?
I moved to Nottingham to work for a small software house named Hanlon Software Solutions. I write government sector finance and project management software using .NET and MS SQL Server.
No, I mean, what else do you do?
Well, I usually play World of Warcraft in my spare time; if I’m not playing that I might be on some other MMORPG like GuildWars, or playing an FPS like CS:Source. If I’m not doing all that, I might be programming something.
What the hell is Codesleuth?
It’s a bit of a rip-off from Codemoose (a nickname of one of the guys I lived with at University), combined with the name I chose for myself when I was 14. Originally I was Ginger Sleuth which turned into Sleuth, and then since I was crazy about programming at the time I bought this site, I couldn’t get sleuth.co.uk so codesleuth.co.uk was the next obvious choice.
