			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There&#8217;s an official announcement about the new <a href="http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release.do?id=871236" target="_blank">Diamond Multimedia ATI Radeon HD 4850</a> on their website, which is good news for me because I&#8217;ve been waiting a while to upgrade from my nVidia GeForce 7800GT card for a long time. My next choice wouldn&#8217;t have been ATI had I not bought a CrossFire only motherboard (the <a title="ASUS Maximus Formula" href="http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=1&amp;model=1889&amp;l1=3&amp;l2=11&amp;l3=572&amp;l4=0" target="_blank">ASUS Maximus Formula</a> board which strangely is Intel based, not AMD as you would have expected) so this announcement is good for me.</p>
<p>The only confusing part of this announcement is this slogan-quote:</p>

<p>Surely <em>a rubbish card</em> would bring your games to their knees, not a good one?</p>
